John Deere is located in the Quad Cities and was very close to Rock Island Arsenal.
We had a guided tour and learned how John Deere started out as blacksmith who created the first plow for turning soil filled with clay.
All of the farm equipment is green and yellow, but the construction equipment has to be this color.
This lawn mower is being tested in Europe. It works automatically like the robotic vacuums. We watched it work in a simulated grass area. It will probably cost $2500 and will be well worth it. It will work in the rain and any time night or day. Imagine never having to mow again!
