We drove up to Lovers Leap and looked out at Hannibal.
Lovers Leap is up on a bluff and is the site where an Indian Princess and a brave from 2 different tribes would meet. The 2 tribes were from different sides of the river and were warring. The two were forbidden to meet and when the princess' father found them, they jumped off the bluff rather than be separated. A native American version Romeo and Juliet!
