The next day we visited the Oklahoma Memorial and were fortunate to be able to take a ranger guided tour where we learned so much more about the site. The reflecting pond was once a street. At either end is an arch. One says 9:01, one minute before the bombing, and the other says 9:03, one minute after the bombing. The chairs represent each person who died there. The smaller chairs represent children. Each chair has a name and the chairs are aligned by floors of the building that was bombed.
